BUILT FROM THE GROUND UP
Some kids grow up playing with toy excavators—I grew up watching the real ones in action. My dad ran a construction company, and from the time I was little, I was right there beside him. I saw the pride he took in his work, the way he made something out of nothing, and I knew I wanted that for myself. Working alongside him at a young age gave me a deep respect for hard work and doing a job the right way. I guess I never really grew out of the sandbox—I just upgraded the equipment.
A Childhood Spent in the Trenches ...Literally
At the center of everything I do is my family. My wife and kids are my biggest motivation, and they’re the reason I push myself every day. I want to build something that lasts, not just for my clients but for them. My father showed me what it meant to take pride in your work, to provide for the people who matter most, and to never cut corners. Now, I get to pass those same lessons on to my children. Owning my own business isn’t just about making a living; it’s about creating a life. It gives me the freedom to be present for my family and to show my kids firsthand that with hard work and dedication, anything is possible.
Fueled by Family
Before starting Advanced Earthwork Specialists, I worked for larger companies in different roles, gaining hands-on experience in every aspect of site work, heavy equipment operation, and business management. Those years taught me what works, what doesn’t, and what it takes to run a company the right way. I learned that experience, precision, and integrity are what separate the best from the rest, and I’ve carried those lessons with me every day since.
Today, my company specializes in utility trenching, drainage solutions, septic system installation, grading, and demolition. As a licensed septic installer and a Class B demolition contractor in Connecticut, I take pride in knowing that every job I take on is done with the highest level of expertise and attention to detail. Having my Class A CDL has also allowed me to operate a wide range of equipment, ensuring that I can personally handle the work that needs to be done. I don’t cut corners, and I don’t believe in taking the easy way out. I believe in doing things right, because at the end of the day, my name and reputation are on every job I complete.
